My Final Post

Hello everyone. We are back together one last time. This post will be an evaluation and comment on our course. Enjoy!  1. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the course?      I have learned many things that I've never heard of in my life. I can definitely say that this is a strength because the tools we used while doing the assignments were very useful. I will be using many of them in the future. On the other hand, there is an excessive amount of assignments. Instead of doing separate tasks for each tool or topic that has been covered, I would prefer integrating more than one tool into a material. 2. What did you find easy or difficult about the course?      The course was easy to understand but completing the assignments was challenging. 3. What was your most and least favorite task? Explain your choices.      The corpus-based teaching material was the hardest for me because I did not fully understand how to use corpus and I do not...

My Final Post, Again

Hi everyone! This is the final post of the term. I have to admit that this has been the toughest term for me. Since we transitioned to online education in the middle of the year, everyone has been facing challenges. It was difficult to keep up with the lessons on time, and I felt like I was constantly playing catch-up throughout the term. However, I managed to complete my tasks. It's not surprising to see that I have improved in many areas of education. I utilized various tools that I hadn't used before and prepared materials that greatly contributed to my growth as a teacher candidate. Yes, this course has been challenging, but I have no regrets about taking it. The most difficult project for me was preparing a flipped teaching video since I had no prior experience in video editing. I had to navigate through Canva extensively to create the video, which eventually helped me improve even further.

Hi everyone !!! Our journey may have seemed to be over but it is definitely not. Now, I will continue blogging for a new lesson: Material Design in English Language Teaching. In this lesson, we, the students, are the ones who will prepare the materials. As a teacher candidate, I sincerely feel that this lesson is going to improve for the better. I can not wait to post new tasks and see my development over time. Though this lesson looks difficult to me now, I want to believe that it will get easier as I continue this journey.       I miss sharing my ideas and products with you. I hope we will have a great time together ! Keep checking my blog for the recent posts and more cat content! πŸ˜ΌπŸ’•

My Final Post

Hi, world! This is my last “Hi, world!” for this term. There are so many things I need to talk about this wonderful lesson. First of all, this course made me realize that I knew too little about how to use technology in education. Of course, I knew this was a necessity but I came to the realization of I had no idea how to put it into real-life practice. Also, I used to think that technology could be integrated into classrooms only by the teachers’ own use such as using presentations, playing games and making the students watch some videos because these had been the things we saw technology in school as students. No other lesson made me use technology this much. I learned various tools to create various contents. I had no idea I could do them. It is great to see real progress in my technological skills. If we come to the benefits of technology in learning English, it contributes a great deal to the production of language. As 21st-century learners, we and the next generations shoul...

Dear friends, welcome to my blog and thank you for visiting. Here, I will be talking about topics related to language learning and teaching, my experiences and fun stuff. The reason I am starting this blog is I have been keeping a diary since I was a kid and it is an undeniable fact that it has been a great company that benefits me in many ways. So I thought it is time I kept up with the changing world and moved to a digital platform. I hope I will be able to share my progress both personal and academic :)
